Daishi tweets awesome SCV cosplay; Harada tweets fans should have "hope".

Two days ago:
"Katsuhiro Harada ‏@Harada_TEKKEN
Don't worry about that. I'm always supervising SC project. RT@MellisaTheGamer Hey harada,do you know anyone In the Project Soul department, "

Curiouser and curiouser... Yet I don't get my hopes too high...

Yeah, but it's a fighting game... how would you incorporate RPG/MMO styles into that? It's been a fighting game since the first one.
Now, team fights I could see. Something like Tekken Tag's workings, with a friend ONLINE. Maybe some clan-based online details. Tekken apparently works on the same floor as Project Soul, and they already threw Jin in last-moment...

What I wouldn't mind about the RPG idea is the story mode.
For example, "Patroklos arrived in a city full of malfested", he would have to cross a street (without fighting), then he would have a choice: going left or right.
Right path: a stronger opponent, chest as a reward (either a weapon for a character, or money, or CaS part)
Left path: story mode going on, Patroklos finding the first malfested in the city.
...
Damn, I kinda summarized SC3's ToS xD

Final Fantasy/Pokemon style, challenge someone, screen cracks and suddenly you're on a stage.

But I wouldn't really like it if it ends up being Dedication to the game > Skill, doesn't matter how good you are you're not beating that guy that's 20 levels above you kind of game.

Chronicles of the Sword in SC3 actually had some RPG and RTS style gameplay going for it, but the fights were all still kept SC-style. It was actually pretty fun, and would give another thing to do with your CAS and just another fun mode in general. I'd actually really like a CoTS style mode to come back (along with a story mode also styled after 3's Tales of Souls mode), but not as the entire game. I still want normal SC obviously. It would just be a cool addition to the game, would help a lot with casual sales too.

In the CoTS mode your CAS could even have choices, like to become malfested or join Siegfried's gang or whatever. Could actually be pretty cool, I think.

This is just a wild especulation but maybe the story in Army of Darkness is just after the events in in Soul Edge, after Sieg transformed into Nightmare.

The SC Manga was at megaupload, if we are lucky someone here may have it, and we can create a thread to help translate it. And maybe we can have a little more ligth about the Army of Darkness

Do you really want this speculated game to be SC6? I still think its to early. They should max out everything they can add into the *unfinished* prequel, complete it then take a break to speculate on it themselves.

What prequel are you talking about?

I believe in santa, elves, faieries and the munchkins....

That would totally rape my bum if I had to pay another 60 bucks just to get something I already own... Let's be serious: if SCAoD is SSCV, just by changing the name they'll charge for the max.
Imho, either they focus on completing SCV (namely: integrate what was already finished, which shouldn't take more than a year) but it's not worth more than $30 (quite the loss for them, even if they already stole us), or they focus on a $60 game that is indeed worth its money (I wouldn't mind forgetting SCV to focus on something better, that would however clear SCV's mysteries up).

Therefore, as it is a matter of personal opinion: I'd prefer to dream of a SCVI rather than a SSCV :D But hey, that's just me ^^

As Harada said (and I hope from the depths of my heart not trolling us....), I should have a hope for a new Soul Calibur game even if it is SSCV or SCVI...!!! But I hope that if they are working on a new Soul Calibur game I want to be released on xbox 360 and ps3 and not for the next gen consoles....!!! :/

If they dont fix what SCV left out or messed up, you'd basically be doing that for SCVI anyway if you think about it. I dont think the requested content has to be on another disc but most likely it would just be a seperate release. Though I'd be more disappointed if all this post is from Harada is just the continuation of releasing CAS parts.
