What do you do for a living?

I am currently a dishwasher at my local East Side Mario's. The job isn't very hard, but I'd rather be doing something that doesn't require a hairnet and touching already been eaten food all night long XD. By September I hope to be in college studying music. I am also looking to make my own band because my old band has stopped activities due to our bassist moving away and the rest of them also working hard for college.

Don't know how some of you can even get to a tournament.

Just got myself out of some nasty debts working nights at a LaQuinta front desk.
Currently in the proces of joining the Airforce. Probably won't be that active for SCV in the future.

I wanna go to final round (among other things) but... work won't let me do that. glad to hear you're out of debt. good luck on joining the air force. if you get in and get stationed in korea, let me know. i'll come chill with ya.

Funny that you say, because considering how much I am currently into the Starcraft 2 scene and Korean dramas...South Korea has become my number one desired destination.

My stable, day job is IT Support by day (4am-12:30pm) and then I drive myself crazy with sculptures and painting at night. I also function on a 6 hour biphasic sleep schedule (4-5 hours of sleep at night then another 1-1.5 after work) which sometimes feels like a job in itself.

Sweet! quick side note: currently there is an impromtu concert in front of my apartment... there are times where I wish i had a gun... this is one of them.

@pouncer you got a portfolio i can take a gander at?

I work at one of the biggest medical(Hospital) corporations in the U.S.
Right now I am just a receptionist but my duty's are a lil bit more heavier then your regular checking in receptionist....
I work in the Radiology department, so I have to book CTs, MRIs, Ultrasounds, X-Rays, Bone Density's, Mammograms...ect.
It's a pretty hectic work environment since you're dealing with more then just ONE department. Took me a while to get used to it since I came from a filing department, where our job was to basically eat cake and do absolutely nothing, lmao! So it was definitely a big change but also a very exciting challenge.

I'm also currently going back to school to get a bachelors in Diagnostic Imaging to become a Radiology Technologist (basically an X-Ray Tech), but my goal is to be an MRI technologist because they bring in the big $$$.
That's it. :3

How many hours do you have??

That's really awesome. Where did you study?

I'm a junior in high school. I don't really know what I want to do for the future.
I'm definitely going to college though, probably get a job or something.

Just a simple Art Institute of Las Vegas (I don't recommend it due to how expensive it was for the degree you get). But I kind of went rogue in my studies and became a Flash specialist (they only lightly touch upon it) and developed a reputation as "The Flash Guru/Guy" and that's helped me get jobs from fellow alumni already in each position. I'll be working on casino games. But this ultimately will lead me to develop actual games on the side as I convert my actionScript knowledge toward C++. It may scare some of you, but one of these days I will be in the realm of fucking with the code in the games you love (and I'm not above shooting for Namco in the distant future)

ha... we share a common goal. except i'm not into programming all that much. I am much more comfortable working in the animation department. Also not really big into dealing with mocap animation all that much. mainly cause it's a bitch to edit not to mention pointless when there's a key on every frame. still, I would love to get my feet wet in the game industry.
