PS1 -> PS3 Converter

Well I haven't had too much luck finding a 360 -> PS3 Converter, but I do have this lovely little off-brand PS1 controller that has a similar dpad to the 360. So I was wondering, are there any converters out there that can make a PS1 controller work on PS3?

There are plenty of converters for PS1/PS2 -> PS3.

Here's a list of converters on SDTekken, though generally the best are the Pelican converter, Real Converter, or InPin Converter.

You best bet would be to get the Inpin Converter from Laugh on Shoryuken, because the Pelican is out of production and very sells for a high price in aftermarkets, the Real is said to have some problems with PS2 dualshock pads and is ALSO out of production.
