Soulcalibur VI is the top selling game on Steam right now. I'm pleasantly surprised I have to say. It didn't seem like it had much hype going for it if Youtube views are anything to go by.

Guys, I don't think "historical accuracy" has anything to do with it. The developers are men, most people who play the game are men and so most of the characters are men and the female characters are made to be sexy. They're just appealing to their main demographic. Nothing wrong with that.

Honestly I don't see any reason for the developers to worry about gender parity. If the game just happens to have an equal or close to equal number of women in it that's fine, but the developers shouldn't force it. They would be limiting themselves creatively if they did that.
