  • Like it or not, I'm entitled to my opinion, and my opinion is based off of what I've seen you post on Gamefaqs, how you portray yourself, what you say to other people, what other people have said about you and the way you play, and videos. I'm not saying that it's fact, but it is, however, MY opinion, and that's something that belongs to me. Neither am I saying that you suck, because you most likely do not. It's just the feeling I get when the character I used to main gets played in such a way that leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Yes. Talk trash about the person you've never played. Real cute, man. Real cute. How are you going to believe Impending_Doom? Of ALL PEOPLE? You believe someone who's not even a notable player? Often I use 1AA if I think someone is going to attempt to impact me.
That's the spirit TetsuyaHikari, I'd honestly like you to beat my ass online, then I could say that you're the first good Cass player I've played. But unfortunately, I don't think this will happen.. if you're willing to play me at a weird hour, I'd be definitely down for that.. my internet usually is crappy most hours (Time Warner Cable in San Diego is terrible for gaming).

Oh and Shenrei barely plays online.. he'd destroy your Cass offline, 10-0.. I'd bet money on that. And no real player gets a fluke victory then leaves the room, that's just lame. But yeah, I'm up for first to 10, that's what I usually do. I only do well against Shenrei online since he barely plays online and I know his playstyle, so its like playing a laggy version of him.

But yeah, lets get in some more matches, I don't even play online that much anymore but I'll still beat your ass. Contact Shenrei for times you're available at, and I'll try to schedule something to go with that.
And about Shin, I don't want to bash on the guy, but from what I've seen, the way he presents himself isn't exactly amiable. Any self-respecting Sophie player would never abuse 1AA like Shin does. Offline, you better pray that it hits because that move will get blocked every single time by decent players. You also better pray you don't get called trash by other players when doing 1AA. I say this because Sophie was my main in SC3 when I was active in the scene. I can also say this because I was easily one of the top Sophie players on PSN when I was still playing online regularly. I'm sure most people will vouch for me on that statement. Online, Sophie's 1AA turns into a 62dmg ~i22 LOW, and that's on a GOOD connection. Offline, you have half a second to block it - that's a long time. That's why when I see arrogant Sophie players claiming to be awesome and spouting shit, then I watch some matches and all I see are 1AA/BB mind game mixups- sorry, but that's just garbage.
If you two really want to do this, set up a time we can all agree on, and I'll log on to record the matches. I still say online is a poor system of gauging skills in the bigger picture.
I know now that Shenrei is a strictly offline player, but still..I had no idea you had this "reputation" behind your name, Pendragon. Now that I do, it makes me curse myself for leaving so soon. I should have beat you again before leaving. I'm really kicking myself for that one now.

That was quite rude of me, so I'll allow you to redeem yourself by accepting your challenge. Let's see..if you win, I'll make up the excuse that you're an "online scrub" and if I win, I'll just show it off to everyone. Sounds pretty fair, right? In the words of your main, "You were a fool to anger me".

Before I forget, Shin also wants to beat you down a few matches, so you might want to bring some pads. This could get a little rough :P

The only difference is the speed. I prefer offline because I don't have to worry about certain commands working or not. I know they just will work. Everything is much more fluid offline and I can guard attacks a bit better as well because I can do it based on a reaction, rather than a prediction.

I have to literally think two steps ahead online because my guard won't register in time if I just try to push it quickly based on reaction speed. So, long story short, don't act like one of those naive scrubs that think, "this guy sucks offline cause he only plays people online". You'll save yourself an hour of embarrassment.

And now..as for your challenge, I accept. I'll have to unblock you first, since I don't really appreciate being called an "online scrub" just because I beat you, lol. Also, the only reason I left after that was because Shenrei didn't look like much, so I figured it would be pretty boring and left you two to continue playing just as you were before I arrived.
The only reason I'm hurting right now is from holding my side after laughing so hard at Pendragon's post, lol. As for being a "fanboy", not quite. There's nothing wrong with admitting you beat someone (even if it is twice) who is much better than yourself.

It's not exactly bragging rights, of course, but it did make me happy nonetheless. I'm also pretty positive that you're quite naive if you think anybody posting in this profile can get 10-0 on me offline. Not to be a "fanboy", but it's because of your mentality that people underestimated Something-Unique and lost against him in that tournament.

It was guys like you thinking, "Heh. He just plays online all the time. This will be easy", but what happens? He gets 1st place in his first tournament offline. I'm not the kind of player that just plays like shit offline. I train regularly offline as well, before hopping online.
Sorry about the messages TetsuyaHikari, I just get pissed when I lose to bad players--I guess I should show some more tact next time!

I never was here to compare my Kilik to Something-Unique, especially considering its the fourth character I've been learning. TetsuyaHikari goes "YEAH I GOT 2-10 ON SOMETHING-UNIQUE!" (wow that's supposed to be something to brag about?). Something-Unique's Kilik's the best I've seen, but.. man, I didn't realize he had a fanboy. Let's have a rematch, then you could say whatever. And I am honestly shocked that you even beat Something-Unique once, he must have been passing out or something.

I'm pretty positive that any of these people posting in this profile could 10-0 you offline.

I normally would never message someone calling them a scrub, but seriously.. you can tell when someone mindlessly throws out moves and gets lucky.. and you sir, are one of those people. Hell, I could go to the training room for about 5 minutes with Cassandra and bust out that shit you did. The stuff you throw online would be more easily punished offline.

But like I said, rematch me, then we can see how badly you'd "wipe the floor with me" or whatever idiocy you spewed on PSN. We could have Shenrei record it too!

I do apologize for sending you that rude message however, as you were tired, I was almost passing out and you left right after winning ONCE--please play me when you AREN'T tired, I'd like to see the great TetsuyaHikari bust his elite skills out on PSN with Cassandra.
I've used Ivy for about 2 times in my entire life, and when I use her, I just try to do CS the whole time. Online, I usually just mash or play in bed while looking at the TV upside down, or even play with my eyes closed. I'm only online when people call me when they're really bored. It's different for other people, but as soon as I adapt online, I'm unable to play offline, and it takes me a long time to readjust. I *never* want that to happen ever again. As far as I'm concerned, online is garbage, especially since Setsuka is the only character I use. Online rankings and who beat who online don't really mean shit to me.

Here's a vid of me playing offline: YouTube - Shenrei (sets) VS TMonster (maxi) 2

It's a rather old vid, and my game has improved/changed since then, but you can get an idea of how I play.

As for Pendragonsfall, he's a RL friend of mine, and an ex-Norcal tourney player that would normally place in the Top 5 in SC3 back when he was active. I don't know what happened between you two, but Kilik isn't his main. He's been using Kilik for only 2 weeks as far as I know. You two should work things out.
I know you said you don't take online seriously, but wow. Man, that was humiliating, lol. I'm assuming you don't know how to use Ivy then, since that Pendragonsfall dude got two perfects on you :/

He sent me a mail accusing me of being a scrub after I beat him though, lol. I just told him, "I beat Something-Unique twice. Your Kilik is nothing compared to his. You should be glad I'm tired right now or I would've wiped the floor with you. So quit whining". All I got back was, "You didn't beat Unique, scrub. LOL"

Needless to say, I blocked this idiot >.>
