I had plans to go to this and see about getting some rooms for folks but it's just too soon. So sadly I won't be able to see my EC folks again.
 
Yo, it's Malice still holding it down here in Philly. Come have fun with us and play some Calibur.

We have two teams ready to go for the team tournament. I'm looking for revenge from NEC. My team is going to do work, or die trying.

Big E is also trying to do a pre-hype tournament at University Family Fun Center aka University Pinball on 40th & Spruce on Feb 25th. Hopefully he'll come up here and post some more info, but UP is where it all started for alot of people including myself. I started playing fighting games there when I was either 8 or 9 years old there. I go back when it used to have a laundromat on one side and games on the other side which was a long time ago. I use to skip school to try to get some games in. I stopped going when I left for the Marines right out of high school and didn't go back until 10 or so years later when they got an arcade setup for SF4. But for those who have never been there before, you should come check out where it all started.

They also have a cabinet with Soul Calibur 3 Arcade Edition. They should also be received SSF4 Arcade Edition sometime next week. Plus Copabanana is right next door which means alcohol and college chicks. Let me embiggen that last part in case you missed it.

Plus there's plenty of things to do within walking distance around UP. Not to mention that Marvel tournament is going to be all kinds of hotness. Don't miss out on another hot event. Holla at me.

This is good timing. I come back from Iraq for my r&r to be able to make this tournament. It's on my b-day though so hopefully I'll be able to come up. If so who's down for money matches?
 
Oh shit, what branch of service are you in? If I wasn't stationed in Japan at the time, I would have been in Iraq at the start of the war. Hopefully, we'll see you here and bring them Texas folk with you.

And WTF!? Where's everyone else that plays Calibur at posting? Did you not have fun at NEC? Did you miss the crazy shit that went down? Bring yo ass and take advantage of that online registration early.
