I took a look at those French Tournament videos. It seems like what used to be aB does quite a bit of damage to the invisible block gauge. Kayane also usually follows up with that double kick move. I'm wondering if Leixia has frame advantage after that "what used to be aB".
I find using 4A+B to auto GI Asura to be better. It's easy since you don't really need to time it. I know for sure that you can auto GI the 2nd and 3rd hit.
I beat a Talim online recently perfect and it was all thanks to Auto GI. 4A+K works well against her since she has a lot of high attacks. Or at least the guy I was playing used a lot of highs.
I don't know how long the GI windows are. However, even though there are some that are UBER hard to do there are some that are quite easy. I have the :4::A:+:B: down against Cervantes's :4::A:+:B: (The torpedo charge move where he flies across the screen) I used it against someone online. He...
Just thought that I'd share that I successfully used her 4A+B auto GI's against a Maxi today online. I don't really know which "move" he was doing, but it did feel awesome doing 4A+B purposefully for the auto GI :D
I gave some of these a try. Some of them are quite difficult. It's going to take a lot of practice to be able to use them in actual combat. There are a few which are easy though. Like the WSB against Sophitia's :4::A::A::A:
i think all "undergarments" such as leggings, are locked. I do wish that you could choose if a character's clothes would "break" during combat, or choose what article of clothing breaks depending on low-mid-high.
Yeah I know what you mean. I actually wish they could have done the damage to the CAS armour like they did to the 1p/2p outfits where it was just rips and stuff rather than having the whole article of clothing exploding off the character. In this case I actually used Ivy's 2p undergarment. So...
Have you tried opening them in a new tab, by right clicking and clicking "open in new window/tab" or by copying the URL and entering it into the new window/tab?
edit: Never mind, I seem to have fixed it.
Well with all these other forums focusing more on the tactics and strategy, I was hoping to have one thread that's a little more relaxed, but still focused on Xianghua.
So anyway, here's my custom Xianghua. I call her my "Wanderer" Xianghua, as in this is what she would wear when wandering...
I can play either. It depends on how the opponent plays. However I like to bait them into doing short range quick attacks so I can do :4::4::B:. I also like to run in at times and do a bunch of short quick short range moves that give me advantage to force them to block a lot so that I can...
I've gotten several kills online with the crybaby move online, but I have 2 memorable ones.
The first 1 I was fighting a Taki. She was down to a shrivel of health, I still had a 3/4. I backed up and just waited cause I was thinking that she was going to try for a ring out and I didn't want...
I don't use it much anymore in SC4, but I used it quite a bit in SC2 and 3 (I never owned a Dreamcast so I never played SC1 that much). I've defeated many of my friends using it. It is funny to defeat people with it online. I've done :1::Ah:+:Bh: just so I can do the crybaby move. It...
I didn't know it mattered how far away your opponent was, but I did know that the damage differs depending on what part of the sword contacts your opponent. For example, if you launch your opponent and do 66B+K too early, the handle of her sword will the the point of contact. This will do less...
SXS is the cancel she has. For example if you do :A::Ah: she'll go in to a stance which the SC community has abbreviated as SXS. From SXS there are several options.
Since I'm making a post anyway, I actually used SXS successfully today online. I was fighting against a Voldo (and since I...
I like using :6::6::B::B: to deal Soul Gauge Damage and to get them used to the move so I can use :6::Bh: . Hopefully I'll have SXS built to Heaven at the least so I can throw them.
If I know that my opponent uses AA a lot, I like using :4::4::A::A: and then going right into :1::A:+:B: which...
