It was disappointing to see the EU guys all get knocked out. They were my heroes before. You could see how disappointed Belial was when he sat down to play Woahhzz (Belial was the last to fall).

The last match I watched was Kayane vs Fuudo before I went to bed. Do you know if and where the matches are saved?

I'm sure they'll be available eventually. You could look at the twitch channel to see if vid archives are up.

It was bad to see no seeding for players who spent €1000s to attend the tournament and make it a bigger event. Some pools had average players at best. And too many top players had to play each other early.

Yes, that's true. Seeding was kind of a fail this year, just like the Viola infinite that was allowed.

However, there's one thing I'm very happy about:
No Viola in finals tomorrow!!!

Yeah, well like I said in the thread, it should only be banned if players would get upset over it. Because of the execution barrier, most players don't seem to mind, and the commentators were quite hyped for it when it happened.

Tokido threatened to rob Keev of a round with it, but he dropped it half way through, so it never mattered.

I think if 2 or more Violas had made top 8 with it and done it at least once in most of their matches, it might have been different.

The safe option is to ban it, but it's also generally a bad idea to ban anything unless it's absolutely necessary. If I had to choose I would ban it, but it's not clear cut at all.

I'm very happy with the EVO results this year. :)
