Historically Mitsurugi is like always the first character revealed (at least back in SC4 till now). If I was a betting man they'll continue that trend.
Ivy was revealed also alongside Mitsu back when SC5 trailer was introduced, and I think the high-res art for SC4 that was intro'd early also...
Any thoughts on what can be applied to SC7 with the batch of Tekken 8 trailers ? I suppose gameplay decisions are impossible, so lets take a look at graphical fidelity

Yeah fighting for the budget to get SC6 started and fighting to get a 2nd season pass approved seems to be Okubo's biggest triumphs. I imagine he had the final say on who the 3rd party guest character selection is as well in his capacity as game producer.

Okubo being the producer got us SC6 + a couple of season passes (3 guest characters) which exceeded my expectation.
2nd season pass had delayed release, but couldn't fault him for that.
