I really think that the next patch should make throws Guard Impactable but only during a counter Guard Impact. I dont know if that made sense but what I mean is that I know the patch made throws Just Impactable but thats basically pure luck in a real match. Im sick of being guard impacted and then react fast enough to counter guard impact but then just end up being thrown. I think we should be rewarded for counter GIing because it takes good reaction time. Throwing after a GI is pretty much guaranteed damage becuase Ive never got a Just Impact after being GIed and I always try to counter GI but it never does anything. I think if the throw is not post GI then it should stay Just Impactable, but if it is post GI then they should change it to a regular GI. I hope that made sense lol. What do you guys think??

i think you should duck if you think your opponent tries, or does throw you after you are GI'ed

I thought that after you are GIed, you couldnt do anything except GI back. Can you actually duck after being GIed??

for 20 frames after being GIed, your only option is re-GI. after that amount of time you can start doing anything you want
if you are getting thrown a lot post-GI, work on your throw breaking.

I thought the window was 16-17 frames post GI? I know I've seen throws ducked post GI, dunno if they were just slow though.

it seems to be 20 because of the moves that cannot be blocked. i think if you duck a throw post GI, means you did the throw too slow, I do see that happen in matches but I'm pretty sure ppl just doing it slow (sometimes myself included, though I rarely throw post GI)
king: fast attack vs slow attack mixups are way better than A throw vs B throw mixup. unless you are playing astaroth or something there is really no reason to use throws post GI much against people who throw break well. fast attack or slow attack does WAY more damage. also, yeah re-GIing each other is cool...until someone decides to do a slow launcher and the other guy gets owned hardcore.

lets use nightmare as an example
A throw: 55 dmg (breakable) B throw: 50 dmg (breakable) if you use these after a GI, lets go ahead and assume they break half of your throws. if you average the damage of your two possible options (A throw and B throw) together, you are doing an average of a little over 25 damage. compare with A+K: 40 dmg, knockdown (not breakable of course, fast attack) 66B: 80 damage (slow attack) they must guess to re-GI fast attack, or block slow attack. smart players will usually choose to just block, and likely eat the A+K, because they realize how much damage 66B will do if they try to re-GI and guessed wrong. your average damage is going to be WAY higher doing these mixups rather than throw ones after a GI, almost regardless of the character you are playing I love that throws can't be GIed because I've always thought it shoulda been that way in the first place.

Just change the fricking whiffing on certain characters BS. They don't need to adjust damage. They don't need to change other move properties.

I think the whole 20 seconds of GI madness is what they were trying to get away from. It just got boring playing the ultra hard computer that would GI everything then CS me if I didn't do it first (and they didn't GI it, that's a kick in the dick).

There's a video on "The Guard Impact Thread" that shows just how stupid the game gets when Guard Impact is the solution to everything that's thrown at you. If you truly hit either A or B at the right time to throw break every time, you'd see that it works and throwing is not the best option. Also, throwing breaking is not luck, because it is not random. Get inside their head. Keep in mind that when you're back against a ringout edge, they're most likely going to choose the throw that rings out. And I'm sure your friends prefer one throw over the other, for more damage, or better positioning afterward. Remember to always buffer either A or B right after you hit a GI just in case they throw.

I'd like to see GI throws gone. No one does it on purpose, so it rewards people for making a mistake.
Balance changes: Sophie needs more damage nerfing. Sophie/Lizardman need for their unblockable to be 8WR-able instead of just sidesteppable Rock needs a 25% damage boost on all grabs Mina needs her 4K and 6K to auto-GI from the first frame Yoshimistu needs a very slight damage reduction Talim needs a slight damage boost

- Nerf Algol's bubbles so all on screen bubbles vanish when Algol takes damage.
- Make all bubble launching that isn't on CH or stun ACable.

give asta his 66B mid back.
more speed for 3A put back original recovery frames for 6k. -14 hurts a bit. freakin Sophie 236B4 every damn time. have PT hit 360 degree instead of just in front.
