I'd just like to draw attention to the fact that we beat Yahtzee's new show in terms of favourites this week.

For those who don't know, Yahtzee is the guy who does Zero Punctuation.

We didn't beat the AVGN, but that's how it is. Guy has been around for a while. And Runescape is universally made fun of.

Any updates or videos posted yet? I'm interested to know which character were used by the 3 Shens and to see footage of the fights. :-)

hey guys, unfortunately some of us seem to be missing some parts/pieces of things that they contributed for the event:

- whirow's power cable for his speakers (three-pin, correct me if i'm wrong whirow!!)
- batou's xbox 360 joystick cable (the short thing that connects the joystick to the xbox)

as such, everyone please do a check on your belongings that went in/out of the event, and let me know asap if you find any of the above. just post here, PM me or sms me at nine7916927. in the event that the parts aren't found, we'll have to reimburse the full cost of the parts.

speaking of which, regarding finances:

i didn't collect contributions on saturday because the situation was pretty hectic and i didn't have time to collect from everyone. also, i thought that we had enough money to cover the rent, but unfortunately, after considering all the relevant costs, that isn't the case.

as such, i'd like to push for the $10 contribution that was mentioned earlier in the smses/forum posts. we'll be having our monthly console session on either the 1st or 2nd saturday of january, and i hope everyone will attend and contribute the necessary amount to our cause.

for those that have already paid $5 for the tourney fee, you need only give another $5 more (making a total of $10). for those who haven't paid at all, please contribute $10.

the money pooled will be used to cover (in order of priority):

- cost of lost items
- the rental cost
- shirts gifted during the HK tourney

additional funds will be kept towards the next event. these funds will be held by me (or shen rii while i'm in taiwan), and i'll be fully responsible for them.

hey guys, as usual in january we'll be having our monthly console session! details as follows:

date: sat 17 jan
time: 6pm onwards
venue: ck's house (pls sms me at nine7916927 if you don't already know the address)

just to let you guys know, we'll be collecting contributions for our previous dec 20 event at this console session. at present i'm covering all remaining costs, so i'd greatly appreciate it if we could get some contributions in. i'll be leaving for taiwan in feb, so this console session will be the only chance i get to collect contributions (and meet up with you guys), so please come! :)

at present we're still short on funds after dec 20, so we'd like to collect $10 from everyone. but those who have already paid the tourney fee of $5 only need to pay $5 more.

and just to recap on our cost/revenue status:

revenue:
total revenue made from tourney fees: $110 (22 participants)
[money made from t-shirts were given to mich, who paid for the production]

costs:
$120 for rental costs
$28 for refreshments
$24 for 2 t-shirts used as prizes

total costs: $172
remaining cost to be covered: $62

if we have extra contributions, we'll use them to cover the 4 t-shirts given away for publicity purposes during the hk tourney ($48). further remaining contributions will be used towards the funding of the next tourney event.

hi guys, it's the end of another great console session! i'd like to give a big thank you to everyone who came down, and an EVEN BIGGER thank you to all of you who made financial contributions to soul sg! every little bit counts, so thank you for your help!

i'm glad to announce that we've managed to cover the costs for the previous tourney, as well as the shirts given during the hongkong tourney! also, we've a remainder of $28, which will go towards the next event.

we've given away 3 soul sg t-shirts to new era, our sponsor for the sc4 posters that you guys saw at the dec 20 event, as goodwill. if no one has any objections, we'll be using the remainder of the funds ($28) to pay for the cost of these shirts ($36). i will personally add $8 to make up the difference. if you do have objections to this, please let me know and we'll talk.
