What locals are you talking about? T.O. has a couple dozen players at most, but I'd say at least of 8 of those are nothing but top tier, ballin players (this doesn't include me, btw, because I suck and I'm not nearby, plus they all pwn me). Quality over Quantity, whut.

Aside: STRYDER and SOW weren't even at this tourney!! (2 of their best)!!

The amount of no-shows was kind of annoying, but what can you do? I think it still went well, and there were plenty of good players on hand. We were possibly missing our best Amy, but that's about it. Oh, and Stryder's ballin Yun.

I too wish more people had shown, but you know... this was the first regional, there hasn't been much hype and it will only get bigger I think.

The tourney ran well and russel/dino made it very smooth. Thanks guys for heeding advice and running shit right, it was mucho appreciated by all.

I thought I did well, and unfortunately my bid for a spot was cut short by having to face 2 of TO's most solid players early, but I enjoyed the experience and the many casuals we got afterwards :)

Oof- what can I say that already hasn't been said? You are crazy solid at the game and I am glad you won, you will be a force at nationals. I'm sad I had to face you first, but you certainly made me realize my weakness against Talim, something to work on :)

Vints- you have inhumanly good defense. You are still the only person I know who literally ducks and punishes throw attempts ON REACTION. You also JF stabbed me out of 1A so many times... it was crazy. Keep playing man, you have a unique style that is very hard to deal with, you peaced out team buffalo in a very embarrassing fashion.

Junior- you lft so early and I didn't even get to chill with you :( everyone has a bad day man, just rep canada at another regional.

Russell- mad solid as usual, crazy stylish with yoshi. Congrats at earning a seat at nats, I hope to see you there :)

DINO- Voldo is still a big weakness for team buffalo, thanks for giving us all that practice against it. Thanks for hosting and being mad chill in r/l.

team buffalo- we had a decent day, but dropped the ball when it counted. We just need to prepare for a wider spectrum of characters netx time and shore up the holes in our gameplay. Maybe next time we won't let Vints OCV us -_-

new toronto guys I didn't catch the names of- good games, and keep at it! You guys have a great community up there and the more players they get, can only make it more stronger.

We had a good time, and suprizingly the Duuf's wings that TO STOLE from Buffalo, we good too! We all need to go there next time.

Firstly I'd like to say, the reason our Turnout wasn't as big as it could have been is simply

a) Obligations - Nizer, Franman, Stryder, SOW, Cowie, Shaker, Xdest are all some of our really good players, but could not make it for one reason or another
b) For others, some just didn't want to pay 20$ to get beat down, assuming the "usual" guys would qualify.

Other than that I'm still glad we got some of our regulars and newer players out, as well that the Buffalo guys for plenty of games.

Also, Yea OOF beat me, it was Really close, and it was Hilde.

Also I put Russel to losers, but he beat me after in Losers. ME and Russel go back and forth.

Big propz to Silent for doing so well. If you're not gonna be able to travel THANKS FOR THE SEAT!!!.....but I still may travel to other regionals with other players (NJ/NE?)

Nah, I wasn't playing so bad today, just got outplayed in key situations against Russ and Chach, who are two good players. These things happen. Anyway good games everyone, Junior you shoulda stuck around man, it was a lot of fun. Nice meeting the new players from TO, as well.
