Hrm I guess if I ever run another regional I will make sure to bring the fog machine and flashing lights as well the bullhorn. :)

I hope people at least enjoyed some of the freebies and had a good time. I think it was a pretty smoothly run event when you consider the massive amount of stat tracking that needed to be done (match and round results for every match).

I think part of the reason the crowd was pretty chill was that it was the 3rd tourney and it was basically the hardcore crowd...and with Evo and Comic Con as possible competing events I can understand if some people can't make Nationals.

I'd like to thank everyone for attending and especially Masa, Muse, Sumir, and Nate for being my judges. Oh and Terry too...I guess. XD

I still haven't recovered fully from getting sick a month ago so I'm sure that impacted my performance in terms of preparations and the day of the tourney.

Yo, this is DancingFighterG. I'm glad that everyone had a good time at this regional. Haven't been to SoCal in a while. Binkley, don't worry the nationals man. The turnout will be VERY GOOD and worth the trip for everyone both hardcore and casual alike.

Also you resorting to Kilik based on which factors? Raphael's inability to handle certain characters, Kilik's GOOD MATCHUP on certain characters, both, or 1 or the other? O_o?

I'm thinking I should use someone else for Amy players now, and maybe Ivy as well, but that's about all I can think of....

I saw the vid of you vs vicious, Siggy's 3(b) is really hard to handle, especially with that guys defense......guess that's why you chose Kilik in the last match. Can't blame you...

Well, Whiterob's Apprentice was very solid.. I was getting locked into a bad pattern with Raph and didn't seem to have any particularly useful tools against him, so I used Kilik and did much better.

Obviously for Ivy I'll use Kilik, Amy I'll use Kilik (depending on how good the Amy user is).. against Astaroth, I'll definitely stick to Raph though. I normally do better against Siegfried, I was just playing trashy that time, all my matches leading up to there my game was tightened. Unfortunately, my Kilik was still used to online, so I had trouble doing simple inputs at times. I usually switch to Kilik if I get locked into a pattern with Raph or if tourney nerves get the best of me.
