anyone know who the kinda creepy guy who kept following me around was? he sat like 5 fucking inches away from me during my matches and wouldn't leave me alone. then he just passed out for hours in the front chair. i may be wrong but i think he was just there to stay warm and maybe score some free food and cigarettes......

also...hmm...well the guys at game on had a pretty sweet setup, so thx for that. it was good to see a lot of you again. it is clear to me now that socal actually holds it down when it comes to having a good time outside of calibur.

props all around...although the biggest props gotta go to the man in the back behind the dumpster smoking crack. lol i had to see it to believe it. good shit.

honestly there was much talk about evo floating around and not really anything about nationals.....yeah the crowd was a bit drab though. i think the best match of the day that i saw, as well as the most hyped the crowd got was for aris vs drdogg in round 1. drdogg missed a 3b after DFb that would have been game when they were already 1-1 and then aris came back all the way and squeeked it out. it was very very nice. damn that shit was close. yeah...it was fucking cold in there too, which may have mellowed people out some as well.

Did I have a terrible bracket? Sure. But that wasn't the issue. I had Aris and Offbeat and simply gave up both matches. They're both very solid players, but I'm more upset about losing the matches rather than the bracket.

The tournament was fun. I'm still upset about my losses despite the caliber of the people I played. I don't know what I'll be doing from here. Final Round is an option, but I haven't decided. I may be done with SC4, but we'll see.

Unique... What exactly are you referring to? I know you don't want to talk, especially having not seen me play a single match of SC4.

Aris... Congrats on the win. Very good match. In my opinion it was one of the best matches of the tournament. I got impatient at the end of the second match and you took advantage of just about every opportunity. Your Just Utsemi of my Doorknocker combos also threw me off a bit, and you didn't fall for any tech traps. Very solid play as expected.

Offbeat... Congrats on 3rd. I think the pressure of what RyuJin and Legend would say if I lost to you played a factor in our match lol. The first match was an easy win, but then you started to adjust. I knew when you came back in the second match that the third one would be difficult. Then I had a complete meltdown and tried to use BB after blocking 3[B], which was really stupid. What's your next tournament?

Everyone else... It was good to see the Cali crew again. I hope to see you all at Devastation in June. MarkMan, N8, Walter, King Salmon, Mo, Naomi, Shinobi, No Face, Mamba, Pendragon... and anyone I left out. Hopefully I'll see all of you at Devastation and/or Evo.
