Saion - I feel bad that I took the round with the accidental pause. I felt uneasy when I made the decision and since I've come to regret it. I know it's a tournament and that we're all trying to win, but I felt like I should have showed better sportsmanship so I apologize. As for SC4 being dead, it's not dead where I am at. I'm having mad fun playing this game offline right now. I know y'all jealous. I wish more people would stick with the game instead of taking the easy route and quit, but whatever. You guys have fun playing Tekken.

It's been fun. I didn't really want to go to this tourney because I normally like to train hard before big tourneys like these, but nowdays I don't play SC much anymore, so I was severely out of practice, but I'm glad I went, just because it was great hanging out with everyone again.

The only thing I'm disappointed about in this tourney (aside to losing to someone who was on virtual steroids :P) were the finals. Normally the finals are one of the things I look forward to most, because I love the energy of the crowd. But these finals were boring as hell. I'm pretty sure if KDZ, S-U, myself, or one of the many other great players were in the finals instead, people would have been hyped up and cheering. I don't know if it's because they were both Amy players, or because they didn't use their mains. But the finals were one of the most boring I've ever watched at a tourney. But congrats to DK either way. I'm glad that you won, you clearly outsmarted and outplayed thugish even though you both weren't using your best characters. :)

SC4 may be dead for some of you guys, but I'll still be playing it online, and offline when I can. I'll be dropping my focus on Vader for now, and go back to playing more Talim in Lizzy again to prepare for the world cup tourney in France, since SW are banned there.

Jaxel - Thanks for running the tournament. GGs in our tourney match, after my match with KDZ I was not really focused and at our match when I grab you out of the air at the start of the round, I lol’d. I couldn’t concentrate after that point,

Malice - It was cool to see you again, man you always hype thing up and make them epic. You really keep the action alive and make the environment feel more competitive. Maybe if you were there during the GF people would not be talking about the death of SC4. Next time we should get some casuals.

Khent - Man we sure did play a lot like 60+, and I wish we played even more. You are the best Mina with out a doubt; your mind game and setup are really good. And thanks for teaching me about what to do during certain situation when Mina knocks you down. I hope that you playing me has help you, you adapted very well and our match became more even. Dreamkiller - Nicely done at placing first at NEC and representing Taki. It really is so much fun whenever you and Ramon are around. You guys say the funniest stuff and make the tournament all the more enjoyable and make the trip worth wild. I had a lot of fun in our matches and thanks so much for pizza.

Ramon - Yo I love playing against you, your Soph JF are always so hot. I know I say this all the time, but honestly when the JF land and the voice are in JP, it just make me go wow. But I’m going try and improve more so I can play better during tournament and for sure I come to other event you guys host, and this time I want to stay longer, 1 day of SC is not enough, I need like a week of SC. Like with DK you make the trip coming down there worth it. Lol all those jokes and stories, dam my stomach is still hurting with laughter

Thugish – Hey it was nice seeing you again, to bad we didn’t get to play this time around, but hopefully next time we will. Yea HumanTyphoon game face was the funniest, I just couldn’t help laughing.

SU - Hey glad we got in some matches. The team tourney was fun, the best moment in at the team tourney was when I was clearing buffer CS, you duck, and then somehow I still grab you. Then you said, “how the fuck did that shit just land on me”
But really I have some much fun playing you and you help improve my game tremendously. I hope I gave you a better match in casuals and the first TV in the room had the patch version of SC4. I will be at the top and my Ivy will be the best. Again thanks for playing and I am not going to use WR A+B any more, even though I was have success with it.

Oof - I am sorry, I know you didn’t really want to go and I kinda push you into to going. But still it was fun, and we had a great time there. Anyway I just need to say my thanks, cause you always been trying to help me improve, now I feel like I am doing better, but I know it still not enough, so I’ll push my self further. This tournament had the most Ivys

350 - Yo it was again cool that we played, I am trying harder to incorporate all that you told me. I wanted to get more casually after the tournament but I couldn’t find you. Well the next time we must play more.

Woahhzz - It is always awesome playing against you. Dam your so far ahead, but I’ll catch up. I know we had a lot of Ivy matches, and I hope that didn’t annoy you too much, it just I want to know if I am using my tool/setup correctly. Also thanks for all the advice, I wont use WR A+B, the only reason I even used the move is I love JP Ivy laugh, and because I can’t land CS this is my alternative. The step stuff you told me I will use too, it a very neat setup, and I will stop using SW 66K 214B all the time, it a bad online habit I need to get rid off. But ever time I play you I get so much better, and nice job on beating the force, now I got to incorporate that style :P
BTW good luck with your studies/exam, that reminds me that I got to study for mine.

Linkrkc - I finally got to meet you in person and it was really cool. I was intimidated when we first play at the team tourney. Unfortunately we only played that one match. I was waiting for the tourney to finish so that we have a lot more time to play casuals, but the tournament took up so much time that it was postponed the next day. So after they postponed the tourney Woahzz and me were looking for you but we didn’t know what room your were in. Then we heard that SU invited people to his room to play, so then went to his room to play. We thought that you might go to his room, so we end up play SC4 the whole night in that room. Then in the morning we were determine to find you but by that time everyone one was sleeping, and I couldn’t find any info on the room you were in. Then later in the day I found out you had to leave to catch your plane. It suck so much that this opportunity was missed, but I guess the only solution is I got to take a plane ticket and head to where you are, I guess I got to start saving now.



This tournament was the best for me. I actually did well this time. I am going to keep striving and become top with Ivy. Really cool meeting with everyone.

There have been talks about SC4 dying, because of how this tourney ended and how it lacked hype. But I don’t want SC4 to die, and it should not die. It is honestly depressing even talking about this. I just want this game to survive and I am sure you all want it to survive too. But something big needs to happen first to our community (if Namco does nothing), I don’t know what but something that will unite us and make us hype for SC.

EpicPhail37: I didn't get to enter BR this time because I was to late to signups. I almost didn't even make it to SC teams. I managed to hustle a little cash in MM's though after the tournament 5-2. Though I didn't expect to do great though cause I haven't touched SC or TK since Rumble in the Tundra. I need to purchase a new PS3.

Shout outs to Suite 630 as that room was the greatest aftermath SC room ever created with all u crazy mf's playing from night all the way till we had to leave the room in the afternoon. Its unbelievable the type of stamina u guys have. I woke up like 5 times and u guys were still playing.

@piggy: I could have definitely hooked you up with a cheesesteak if you had said something. I was trying to go to the hood and get some but no one said that they wanted one. Y'all got to say something next time.

@Eli: I wish I was there for grand finals. You see how boring it is without me there right? But I had no idea they were going on Sunday and I didn't feel like driving back to the hotel and pay for parking. I should have though. We definitely have to get some casuals in next time.

OOF: I bet the finals would have been better to watch if there was more people, but I enjoyed watching it over the stream. GFs was very enjoyable to watch.

I was doom and gloom about the state of SC4, but here on the east coast, this game isn't dying no time soon, especially not in Philly. I'll be helping to keep this game going until SC5 gets here. Plus there's GVN Winter Brawl to look forward to on February 27th, 2010. If you had a great time in Philly and looking to come back, then mark your calendar for that date. Plus there's NEC next year. Why wouldn't you want to come next year if you had a great time at this one?

Next time though, I'm either definitely getting a room or finding somewhere I can crash at. Trying to play this game plus run around looking for people plus being in a room filled with musty ass gamers almost made me pass out.

It's also disappointing to see people quit while I'm trying to work my way up in this game. I don't want to see people leave. When people leave a game like SF, it's not a big deal since there's plenty of noobs that will hop on it. But SC4 is not an easy game. There were plenty of times where I contemplated quitting because I was spending time, money, and gas to go to a tournament where I would go 0-2 in. But I love a challenge and I love the competition. Plus it was good to see those who did make it there.
