Um... Iron Fist Possession is good. Why would you not use it in a regional? -_-

Good job Fhwoarang reppin Maxi out there! I'm curious though, in the bracket it shows that you lost to Thanatos' Raphael. What was he doing that gave you so much problems? Is that match recorded, i'd love to see it?
Yes that match was recorded... Only few matches weren't recorded...

I was under the impression that you have to look upward and note the time to use a move when you want it.

Sometimes he countered with one of those moves. I couldn't be bothered to try and sync that up...

If I may ask, what's that Maxi's interrupted (traded with Yoshi) move at 5:37?

Yay for Maxi placing high!

I believe that Fhwoarang had trouble with that raphael, because he hasn't played a lot against all characters and i guess he was caught off-guard, even though that thanatos is a solid player, but ironically enough he lost to an apprentice for the same reasons and got eliminated...

I think the placers played very well, I mean, we all knew lolo was going to place top 4 since he won at EGS almost flawless. But Fhwoarang also continues to amaze us all. I'm absolutely sure he has played less SC4 than any other of the attendants, and he ended up 2nd, giving lolo a hard time at the final.

There are certain times when it's convenient to check the clock. Like when you're nailing someone with a DNK (Doorknocker) combo or Cervy just hit you with BT B+K, 3B, etc. Eventually it becomes second nature to check whenever you have a chance.

It's not difficult to keep tabs on the clock at all.

Adding to what Hajime said, the locals I play with watch the clock almost as much as I do. In the end it adds another mind game to Yoshi's arsenal. I actually tend to look down upon Yoshi players who don't use the Tekken move set. lol

Hi, I haven´t had seen this thread, hehehehe, I´m going to upload more vids, I don´t have the thanatos vs fhowarang matches, those were recorded by masterx, but I have a copy of the losers final, and some warming up from various participants, I´ll be uploading these matches given the interest.
The second part of the final is when I changed the strat, playing a little bit more safe and agressive.
The losers final is interesting to see, is the actual champion of the XBL Online tournament, Moldaiver vs Fhowarang. It´s in my profile, just look for vegasan9 in youtube.

BTW, Fhwoarang lost to Raphael cause he had never played against a Raphael, hehehe, actually Fhworang is kind of gifted for Tekken and Soul Calibur I think, he doesn´t even have the game, he just borrow the game from time to time, but when does it, he knows what to test because he has been thinking into that for some time, he is that good, hehehehe.

I find Raph to be difficult with Maxi just to throw that in there (largely due to zoning/range differences)

looking forward to part 2 of the grand finals

Sorry for the delay in vids, but some problems with my camcoder leave me with not to much to upload.

I believe some day of the next week ALL THE TOURNAMENT will be up.
