Yo, this is DancingFighterG. First and formost I would like to thank everyone from attend this Road to Cutthroat 1 and the Regional Qualifier for Soul Calibur 4. It was a good tournament as always. Let me get my shoutouts:

Cutthroat Chapter: I was very proud of our chapter and the fact that Egg qualified for Nationals. I think we played well but we could always do better. I will be in ATL to help my chapter leader there run his regional but I will be more focus on the game so I'm trying to qualify there. Overall good job guys representing and taking care of the out of staters. Mad props to Egg to stepping up and handling this for me.

Egg: Congrats man!! Let's get everyone else ready to compete out of state

Krazie - Good kicking it with you man. Are match was close. Hopefully we can play against each other at nationals. Good times eating and kicking it with you. I hope that this event and the venue gave you some insight into what the national event will be about. Talk too you later!!

Haji - Nasty Yoshi man. Had fun kicking with you as well. Good converstations!! Talk too you later as well

Jimmy - Good too see you again man!! Don't worry about missing the tournament. Handle your business. Hope this gives out of staters a little more faith in the NVGA, Colorado Cutthroat and the SuperCon / National event. See you in July!!

Xeris - Good talking too you man. Let's talk more about getting a chapter out in Oregan.

Goofus- Good games man. It's good to play another Voldo player. See you later!!

Garret - Good too see my fellow chapter players come out. Good playing man!!

Too everyone else that I missed - Really appreciate the support for everyone.

I hope everyone had a good time and I hope that eveyone have a glimpse of what the SuperCon is going to be like as well how Cutthroat gets down. I hope I see a lot more of everyone coming to Cutthroat events!!

Kind of insulting that you only spelled 1 out of the top 4 placers' names correctly... because it's only 3 letters long... I know spelling isn't really your thing, but maybe spend 5 minutes to proofread the names to be respectful to the people that traveled to your event?

"Also, his play style isn't set around being skillful either. It's not like he does MvC2 ROM infinites or anything like that. He holds some buttons down, let's them go, and if you get hit, you lose. In a nutshell. Hates, Manta and Krayzie have more skill and lose to it. It's not the player winning, it's the character. There is a difference there, but I digress. It's not worth getting worked up over." -Enkindu, speaking about me.

Yo, this is DancingFighterG. Fuzion, these name our coming right out of the TIO software so these names were in the software as is. Everyone knows that I have no intention to insult anyone as all these people have known me since Soul Calibur 2. I will fix the names because it's the right thing to do but anyone who knows me know how I roll. I guess even with a good event that people can just chill!!

DancingFighterG: Add that 'y' in my name and it's all good, lol! Spelling aside, yeah man you definitely ran a great event and now I and everyone else that attended this event should be convinced that nationals will be truly epic under your direction. The venue was spacious, clean and the tournament ran very efficiently. The streaming matches were a great touch and should be HUGE for nationals. Can't wait for Nats, I know you said you had a very pleasant surprise for all the attendees.....I can't wait to see it! Ok, time for some more shout outs...

Egg: Man you were me and Hajime's savior this entire trip. Thanks for the rides everywhere....from the airport, to the motel, to get food, to the tourney, back to the motel...everywhere. Good games as well with you, I didn't play you THAT much but we had enough good games....that Raph is nice man but if I were you i'd put more time into that Cervy, he just seems to be a more solid character....if you can get him to the level that Hates is at with him you'd be damn near unstoppable. Anyway like I said when you last dropped us off, if you ever need a place to stay in NorCal, you know who to call. Thanks again man!

Ivylicious: Was great seeing you again after all this time. We had some close matches in the tourney, especially the second tourney in the grand finals where after I started off 2-0, you steamrolled me 4 straight games with Hilde to win the first set 4-2. I think you should've stuck with Hilde for the entire second set and then you would've won. Oh well, cool chillin with you...honestly I think once you stick with a solid character you'll do a lot better. Nightmare takes too much work for good results, Taki is better but still requires a lot of work, but look at the results when you used Hilde...i'm tellin you, just use Hilde or another better character. Ah what do I know...whatever...i'll see you again later in the year i'm sure.

Crazy-J: Ain't seen you since that first SC3 tourney in NM....hella long ago, when we were actually in our 20's lol. Funny that we had the 'old man match' in the second tourney lol. "This 63 years of experience right here!". I hope you do pick this game back up again....I saw that you still had the basic skills that never leave you, like stepping, breaking throws, etc....now you gotta learn all the SC4 specific traps and all that. Do that shit and hit up the Texas regional along with this next dude....

Smilez: Like I said man, you impressed me the most out of all the people I saw at that tourney. The way you moved with Hilde was amazing, especially that backdashing with the kick cancel you were doing. It was like I couldn't catch you. I think if you used her s-tier sidestep more like Ceirnian you would do a lot better. Plus, I gotta commend you for using her on a stick with no binds. Good stuff right there but hell, try using her on a pad with the binds if it's not too weird for you....you might find it easier maybe...maybe not, but worth a try IMO. Good shit man, you should seriously think about that Texas regional.

Goofus: Holy shit, took everyone by surprise showing up. You had an excellent Voldo, with some nasty GI setups and great application of his 1A. You were in the most intense match of the tourney IMO, you vs Smilez. That shit was crazy, and the way you handled that moment where he had you down to just an ounce of power and you guessed correctly to duck his throw and ended up winning the match because of it was crazy....you seriously ducked for like 3 seconds lol. Looking back at our match, i'm just lucky you didn't block more of those 2K,Bs I was whoring out.....folks out here in NorCal rape me for that shit. Plus I was lucky I practiced with Manta a good deal before CO, even though there's some stuff that he does that you don't....and if you used it you would've won easily, like he does when we play. Plus i'm glad you didn't get KDZaster's call until AFTER our match, lol.

JimmyPikachuChoi: Nice job in the tourney man, I was very impressed with the way you play X. Never thought I'd be saying this in any Calibur game lol, but I haven't seen many Xs......yours was VERY solid. Hajime and I were discussing in the airport how you utilized all of her tools very well such as the 4K traps, 1B+K, her step, and 44B. Most X players, you can count on them giving you free damage with predictable 44Bs but you picked your spots nicely. Nice job of keeping it together despite losing 2 quick rounds vs Smilez to come back and win that match. If that were me in that position I would've gotten steamrolled, but you simply came back with patient gameplay, excellent stepping, and great decision making. Plus you had nothing but positive energy, even after losses. Glad to see you qualify man, i'll see you at Nats.

Tage Proto: Good to meet you and ggs after the tourney man. Egg was telling us that you seemed off your game on that day and that's too bad but we knew you had other stuff going on with your family. It's all good, we all have bad days so I understand. Still, solid Asta....unfortunate that your first match of the tourney had to be against Jimmy. Hit up that Texas regional and qualify man!

Xeris: Had to give you a shout out, cuz even though you talked a bunch of shit to some of my NorCal dudes, after meeting you I see why now. You're young and you've just got a lot to learn in this game. You learned a lot of stuff the hard way in this tournament but hey, that's how you get better so just keep at it. Show up at more tourneys, instead of arguing with veteran players read some of the informative threads on these boards so people like Jimmy won't have to show you how to shake out of recoverable stuns mid tourney.....things like that.

I'm long winded yeah, but whatever...yall know me, that's how I roll. See yall at Nats!

It was nice meeting and playing some of you in casuals (Xeris, Krayzie, Jimmy)...you guys taught me quite a bit. Wish I could have played some more or...entered the tourney but oh well. Hope to see you guys at Nationals!

DancingFighterG: Echo what Krayzie said. Thanks for putting on an amazing tourney. It's hard enough to run one game, and you and your crew ran multiple games from multiple genres and you still had time to participate. Mad props. Too bad we didn't get any games in. Let's make sure to do that during Nats. Let's get that beer next time.

Isaac: I dunno if you read this site at all, but props for setting up the stream. Especially over the campus' wireless internet. It was cool hanging with you too.

TageProto: I'm glad you were able to make it out so I could meet you. I know you were off your game and I agree that you should really hit up Texas. You were the guy I was most afraid when I was prepping for CO. I still fear your potential still and I welcome a rematch next time we meet.

Egg: Echo Krayzie again. You are the all star of our trip, man. Thanks for the rides everywhere, making sure we had a place to stay, making sure we were properly caffeinated and had time to warm-up, and just being a cool guy to hang with. Your efforts were very, very much appreciated.

Jimmy: Asians represent! Your X was great. I expect great tech from you at Nats! It's too bad you couldn't stick around longer. Hopefully we can hang more during Nats / EVO. I'll have to steal some of those pics from you sometime. Echo Krayzie's comment. You got some awesome, infectious positive energy going on there.

Emerald Panther: You got some cool stuff going for Yoshi. Keep working on 4A+K and iMCF. It was cool hanging with you.

Ivylicious: Was good meeting you after hearing so much. Mad props for dodging Kunimitsu's UB and blocking iFC 3K like it was the slowest move ever. That's some godly reaction speed you got there. Your spacing with Hilde was surprising and stupidly effective. Hopefully they'll restore Ivy to her former glory one day so you can keep your name instead of becoming something lame like Nightmarelicious or NotIvylicious.

Xeris: I'm glad you showed up. Take all that new stuff you learned and that energy to get better and get your community going. You already play other competitive games, so just step it up in SCIV and teach your comp. how to do it as well.

Gutts: Check your buttons at char. select! Hehe. Was cool meeting you.

OK, I already posted this on the Colorado Regionals thread, but I'll repost again...

some pics
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref...5&id=745746240 If you need to add me on facebook, my name is Jimmy Wingleung Choi, no not Jimmy Pikachu Choi:)

Egg: Awesome job. Keep up the good work with NM and Cervy. Too bad I didn't get to play against you in the tourney. We should get some dimsum, so I can help you with your Chinese...:D What's your number. I might be able to grab a bite with ya on Tuesday or Wednesday. I can give $$$ for gas also.

KrazieCD: Thx for the support. Your enouragement helped me alot during the tourney. There were some moments, I was like, Oh $hit, I'm gonna be out, but I was able to get through those tough matches *coughcough smilez* See ya at nats fosho!!! That is a very wicked Maxi, BTW. You just know what to do at the right times, and you know your loops and their properties. I couldn't stop laughing when you did WSA a jillion times in casuals...

HajimeOwari: Yes, we repped the Asians!!! Fun stuff in casuals and in the tourney. Way to climb your way outta the losers. You had lots of tough fights. I'm just glad we all made it. Sux that we both had to fight XERIS...YAY, we are facebook buddies now! Too bad you live in Cali, otherwise you'd feel the attack of the crazy PIKA loving Paparazzi...:D Your Yoshimitsu Tekken-like UB's.... ...... .... ..... yeah that's all I have to say to that. Good stuff. I'll get ya in Nat's, maybe...

XERIS: Good talking with ya and playing against ya. Man, that was a tough break for you in that 2nd rd vs me. You had a CF to finish me, but you had an input error to help me get the win. Good matches, and you did real well. Keep up the good work, and try to qualify somewhere else. I wanna see ya in nats.

DancingFighterG: Thx for running a very smooth tourney. Sorry I had to skip the 2nd tourney for $, but I had to go to a wedding rehearsal.

CrazyJ: Good to finally meet you. You had some wicked Ivy strats. I'm just glad I didn't have to fight you. Keep it real.

TageProto: That sucked that we were put 1st rd against each other. I kinda got nervous in the beginning with everyone cheering for you...but I caught some lucky breaks with those JI's.

smiles: Tough loss. You really scared me with your Hilde in the beginning. I thought I was just gonna lose 6 straight rds with how I was playing, but I tried not to give up and played more patiently. I'm just happy that X's 66K is good vs. Hilde. Hope you are able to qualify in another regionals.

ivylicious: thx for the support as well. I think you helped me calm down after matches and that made a huge impact on me. I hope you go to another regionals to qualify. I'm just glad I didn't have to fight your Taki or NM.

Syxx; No need to worry. I'm in.

Madison, all friends, and all supporting family members: Thx so much for your support. I had pics of you guys by the table to wish me luck, so when I was doing crappy, I'd look at the pics for more inspiration. I don't really think I'd be able to pull through without you guys, especially like vs. smilez, or goofus. So thx. I hope to do well in nats...HAI HAI....

Formal congrats to all the placers.

The live feed was hot shit, thanks for that. There was alot of intense moment watching people play. Hates and AlexJ said it best when they both stated that it's way more stressful watching your buddies plan than actually playing.

Good times, and once again, congrats.
