Default Patch Information Thread

This thread, if to serve as a log for Soul Calibur 4's Balence and game Patches. No posts allowed unless its to update the list only by Mods or myself.

PATCH VERSION 1.03 NOTES

System Changes:
  • - Soul Crushes are harder to pull off (moves generally take off less from the soul gauge)
  • + You can Just Impact throws.
  • + laggy stage are much improved but not completely fixed.
Algol:
  • - ~-> - damage scaled down to 70 (before was 90)
  • - if is hit in the air... it no longer provides a stun for to bounce juggle.
  • - in juggles will set them flying backwards.
  • - BT so -> -> BT ... damage output has been nerfed.
  • - throw pushes further back.
Amy:
  • - no longer rapes soul gauge does less damage.
Astaroth:
  • - is -14 on block. (CH is now just frame timing)
  • - no longer knocks down on normal hit.
  • - _ , , _ no longer glitch connects.
Cassandra:
  • - doesn't pick up the opponent like before.
  • - you can do five i in a row.
  • - on airborne can NOT connect the 4 just frames.
  • - recovery on block is worse you're looking at for most characters.
Cervantes:
  • - is now -15 on block, and 0 on hit.
  • - regular hit can not connect i only CH version can.
Ivy:
  • - SW WS -> BT no longer forward RO and can't follow up with the old combo.
  • - SW WS *repeat* is no longer an infinite
  • - WP does less damage.
  • - WP (as well as any of its variants) no longer tracks, can be stepped or 8WR.
  • + Just Frame Calamity Symphony is easier to do (window is bigger)
  • - Whip worse recover
  • - Calamity Symphony range seems to be shorter... it's covers around 'one character width' away.
Kilik:
  • + will auto GI mid horizontal/vertical non-kick attacks. smaller GI window.
Lizardman:
  • - after juggle no longer grounds opponents for followups.
Maxi:
  • + RO, >BL, PSL2>RO, *repeat* no longer has inconsistances on the multiple follow up RO, As
  • - K: is techable
Mitsurugi:
  • - no longer tracks.
  • - FMD no longer tracks.
Nightmare:
  • - FC _ against head towards opponent does NOT guarantee any types of throws...
  • - NSS -> iFC -> throw or BT -> iFC -> back throw can be ducked.
Raphael:
  • - no longer tracks like no tomorrow.
Rock:
  • + WR whiffing problems have been fixed.
  • + on GB, pushes the opponent right next to Rock's chest.
  • - JF PT on GB pushes the opponent farther away so Rock's options are 6K/throw in mid arena.
  • + alignment has been fixed for ground throws.
Setsuka:
  • - throw is 5 less damage.
Siegfried:
  • - has longer recover. ( SCH no longer combos)
Sophitia:
  • - damage is weaker now.
  • - pushes the opponent out further.
  • - hit airborne once.
Talim:
  • - Tech Jump time is less .
The Apprentice:
  • + throw break has better recovery.
  • + now ends in back turn.
  • + has recieved a speed boost.
Tira:
  • - infinite against talim doesn't work.
  • + no longer whiffs
Voldo:
  • - BS no longer stuns.
  • - BS won't relaunch the airborne opponent.
  • - Combo damage is weaker.
  • - LF unblockable by player1 glitch has NOT been fixed.
Xianghua:
  • + hits Astaroth.
Yoshimitsu:
  • - damage is weaker.
  • - has longer recovery. (cant follow up with UNLESS you do first)
  • - vs airborne (in juggle), can be teched to the left .
  • - no longer rapes soul gauge like before. (takes four against the wall for CF)
  • + iMCF seemed easier to do off a buffer (Unsure on this. But it seemed like it.)
