But nerfing Voldo over Sophie? Or Cass?
I'm just saying that if they chose Voldo instead of the sisters, it either means that they think Voldo needed it more (which i disagree with), the sisters are harder to nerf (which i highly doubt), or it was told to them by the community that Voldo needed to be nerfed (which i haven't seen at least). So it just doesn't make sense. EITHER way, I'm happy they're at least patching, and would rather take this patch than no patch any day. And it'll only get better from here, so if they did too much harm to Voldo, they can always fix it down the road. It's not that hard.

Voldo is VERY good. He has one of the best soul crush games in the game, can ring out from the middle of the ring, has crazy combos (can do just about half life in one combo), is evasive, good mixups, and very safe. I'm not surprised in the least that he got a nerf.

I see nothing in the patch notes that suggest Namco is making an effort to balance the roster. What I do see is an attempt to address the inability of inexperienced players in dealing with certain moves, many of which weren't even considered abusive. One look at what happened to Asta's 6K and you know it was made to cater to people who spam moves and get killed because they eat the CH and don't know how to deal with the tech afterwards. Infinites and bugs needs fixing, not staples which many chars needed in order to compete.

All those moves are highly steppable..... and trust me, Namco cares less what scrubs do with Kilik.
