Hello, I'm a somewhat casual SC player(been to a few tourneys) I read a lot about SC3 on caliburforum never signed up there though.

So here I am and my main is Mistsurugi.

Yo what up. I'm new to SC, but I heard this site was a really great place to learn about it. I have some friends who I play with here, however they're all about as "newb" as I am.

This place looks a little bare-bones, but definitely has potential. Can't wait to start learning!

Yeah, the site's brand new, but most of the people here are blood-stained veterans (well, at least sweat-stained) so we know what's going on. Our sister site (formerly our home site) was getting a liiiitle too laggy so we decided to get ourselves a new one.

Be sure to look in the matchfinder forums to see who's around your area, as I can practically guarantee you, there will be.

A New Challenger has Arrived

Yes, I'm a newcomer. Ever since the release of SCIV and upon my playing it the first time, I've been browsing CF considering you guys have been doing a pretty excellent job in discovering things in regards to SCIV (both good and bad). So, I've been using CF as my source of info about SCIV as of late and considered I'd join the site as I've always been a fan of the series anyway.

I've been playing the Soul series ever since the first entry, Soul Edge aka Soul Blade. The Soul series has always been my 3D fighter of choice (Virtua Fighter being close second and Tekken being dead last). For all the time I've spent with the series, I've only ever played casually and really prefer to keep it that way. However, knowing the mechanics behind the game makes it that much more enjoyable, hence why I attempt to keep up with tourny info.

My main in IV is Tira, Setsuka is my planned secondary (I haven't really practiced much though). I did play Cassandra and have been ever since she was first introduced in SCII, but apparently there are a hell of a lot of Cass players (considering she's high on the tier list) so I might just drop her, even though I like her character.

i m knew 2 Soulcaliber. Dat Aimee is hot, and check dat Sophie.

Almost made me quit Matten 09 but....PSYYYYYYKKKEE! never happenin.

what is a GI? what is your best moves?

Hey all, glad to be here. Been a fan of the series since SC2, main Taki and am currently shopping around for a competitive but fun character (sorry Kilik, Rock, Raphael). If anybody has ANY suggestions in that department I'd love to hear em. Howdy, and thanks for having me. I'm more of an Armored Core player in my heart of hearts, but currently in lull waiting for 4Answer's US release. I've been a longtime casual fan of both the Tek and Soul series, and came here to learn from the pros.

Bear in mind, I'm not a good player at all. As you'd expect for an Armored Core fan, my truest love is customization - which Soul 4 provides in plenitude. :)

I'm a long, long time lurker of CF and been playing casually since Soul Edge. Been playing fighters hardcore for most of my life, but mainly 2d (CVS2, 3s, etc.). SC has always been my favorite, though for a while SC3 put me off of the series. I'm hooked like a fish to SC4 though and it's good to be back.

You can find me also lurking around on SRK and VFDC. If anybody wants a game online hit me up, I'm always down.

I've been playing since SC2 on the cube (my friends place)... I'm really keen on the game series, always so much fun, although i admite i really ahven't played against that meany people (untill i hit the online).

I admite in a huge fan of Taki. I'd like to think of myself as a good player, but really dont have much to base that off. Hope to see you guys online (Ps3 version players at least)

Hello. The name's Nyx, but I also go by Einslayer (my PSN ID) or Dexter (my actual name).

Well, I've been playing Soul Calibur since II for the PS2. I used to casually play, but I've decided to actually start really getting into it this time around for Soul Calibur IV.

I usually play with my main custom soul, Nyx Nocturne and he has Setsuka's style. I spend a lot of the time practicing so I can become better. Kind of an average player, but I hope to be a serious contender one day. I don't have a secondary at the moment since I'd like to completely master Setsuka first.

Anyway, glad to be here and I'll see you guys around the fourms. =)
