Hi I'm one of the various people who registered because of SCIV and I wanted to learn more about the game and possibily find some more UK people to play with online and perhaps offline if I ever learn to drive or something. I normally play 2D fighters but I like SC (obviously) and VF too. I have accounts over at CF and SCU too.

Heyo, recent migrant from caliburforums.com (as <2 hours :P ). The name's Brian, which is decidedly easier than my mangled user ID (it has a long story). I'm a ComSci student at UCI in Southern California, an engineering intern at Broadcom, a producer for the game dev team Infinite Bagels, and an avid writer :)

In all honesty I was one of the many console scrubs that got into the game from SC2, but since the release of SC4 I got tired of playing friends who think that "I'm too aggressive to block" is a viable strategy and playstyle... so I'm going to the community and when I get some time in a couple weeks hopefully I can make it to a meet in the area! Like mudah I am generally a 2D fighter kinda guy (Guilty Gear being my favorite, even though I suck ass at it).

Hello, I'm not really new to SC, just these forums, though I do just play casually. I'm actually way more into Tekken myself, being a big Devil Jin fan. My more common handle online is SonKitty since Cat is usually taken (but not this time, HA!).

I know some people here from TZ-to the rest of you, hello, nice to meet you all.

Dig the JEW sig, Brian. Half of them went to Westwood High School, which is also my alma mater. A pretty dumb reason to be proud, but one nonetheless.

Hopefully we'll get most of sc.com over here and then getting matchups won't be a problem anymore - whether on-line or off.

Haha, really? That's awesome. I wouldn't say it's a dumb reason to be proud; at least you got Jimmy Eat World, a band that's done well and makes good music, 'cause my high school had to settle with one of the City Guys :P

Southern California guy, living in Tustin. I manage QA for a cellphone game company. Pretty casual player, but I'd like to think I've gotten as good as that's going to get me, and I'm eager to play better, more efficient players.

I have played since the Soul Esge arcade machines, but it was honestly Soul Calibur on Dreamcast that got me big into the series.

Kilik since SC2, used to use Sophie in SC and SC2 until she got dirty.

I've played since SC1, but really haven't had many people to compete with nearby. I'm hoping with some luck with online (even though it IS a gong show for the most part) I'll be able to get some new people to spar with and improve. :)

I'm a serious-minded casual player, and attend odd tourney here and there.

i dont have sc4 yet. trying to figure out whether i should buy a jpn version even though i dont own a ps3 in japan (mine is in the states).

The basics:
Just moved over from CF.
Played since SCII (GameCube)
Got SCIV two or three days before European release.
Tried to pick some skill up since then.
Have failed so far.
Haven't decided on a main yet.
Probably will choose Siegfried, since I'm from the same country.
