How beat her ?

Maybe it is because I lack of skill to defeat Ivy but many Ivy player give me very hard time on the online. So someone have some hint to help me ? ^^'

find good ivy players and play them alot. theres no quick fix to countering ivy, just learn what to expect from her stances.

First, unless you have no choice, don't use online for any sorts of strategies. After that, find some players who share the desire to get better at the game with you. If you both want to get better with so and so characters, you'll find counters and new 'cheap' stuff. After that, go online again and weep as you try in vain to apply everything you've learned offline to online.

well since you play lizardman pick him and spam 1aK that alone should shatter her defense. its a fast dynaic sweep they NEVER see coming.but if they keep blocking use A+K as a guard breaker then when they duck to avoid eating 1AK hit them with 66A+B problem solved.

I'll tell you from experience nearly every Ivy online is trash lag spam. There's very few good ones. I highly suggest looking in the Ivy thread and see who the respectable Ivys are and ask them for training. Don't feel discouraged if you lose to her online. I lose to inferior Ivy's all the time online. No_face is the only one i can name off the top of my head that plays xBox and is good (better than me).

Also what exactly are you having trouble with? I've noticed some players can really fall for bad gimicks such as shakable combos, shakable set ups for instant Calamity Symphony, and Whip Mode 6B+K2_8 spam. Also what character are you using...Seong Mi-Na...is probably not the best pick if you have other options.

Yeah I admit the lag is very on the advantage of her. About Mina I know she have bad matchup agaist many character but I want to try to get a very decent Mina. But I use many characters now (Like Zasa, Cass, Tira, etc.)

My main problem about Ivy is that I dont know well his play, so I will try to pratice agaist a Ivy player to become better. ^^

To fight an Ivy player online looks up the accused lag tactics and fiugre ways to prepare for it or counter it. As well look into what moves are shakable. nearly every stun she does is shakable and a lot of people just sit there and get comboed when they can escape. Every time you lose to a move, look it up, see if it has a weakness. A lot of people player her very unsafe since they are depending on lag. If you can look at the guaranteed punish list you can keep that in check. CL 214[B] is a big move your gonna wanna know how to punish...even on hit!

Just be careful with who teaches you I cannot stress the amount of Ivys that think theyre good and will hand you terrible advice.
